When is the opening date ?

We’re open since January, 1st 2018 ! After major renovations we are very proud of our complete renovation project!

Can we be more than 14 people ?

We offer 14 beds in our cottage, but have the legal authorization to welcome 15 people. The word “people” should be literally understood in its full sense meaning that a baby sleeping in his own foldable bed counts as a full person.

You can of course be more than 15 during daytime. However, only a maximum of 15 people can sleep in the cottage, as indicated in our general terms and conditions and contracts. This should be respected for safety and insurance purposes.

I’d like to bring my own towels and bed sheets. Is this allowed ?

For hygiene reasons, we have decided not to allow this and force the renting of towels and bedsheets. Cleanliness is our #1 priority !

We are sure you’ll understand this decision, taken for your best confort and hygiene.

Are animals accepted ?

We force ourselves to have the best possible hygiene and limit allergy risks. Therefore we cannot accept animals within our cottage.

However, we do love animals ! They’re therefore more than welcome to spend the day outside (there is plenty of space) and can sleep in an old stable in which you can put your animal’s cage.

What should I take for my stay ?

In addition to bedsheets and towels, we put at your disposal a maximum of elements allowing you to free your mind.

We’ll take care of dishes/dish-washer detergent, kitchen towels, toilet paper, cleaning products (cleaning is included in the rent, but you might want to use a hoover during your stay).

On the other hand you’ll need to pack in your suitcase your beauty products (shower gel, shampoo, etc), your groceries, coffee filters and cooking spices/oils.

What is the LEZ (Low Emission Zone) ?

Some regions in Belgium are considered as Low Emission Zones (LEZ). The regulation concerns cars, vans, (mini)buses and coaches, whether registered in Belgium or abroad.

If you drive to a LEZ (e.g. Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Mechelen) with a car registered outside of Belgium, you have to register your vehicle. More information can be found here.

What shops are close to the cottage ?

We are located opposite to the beautiful Ferme du Puits de Sainte-Renelde, perfect place for your wedding ceremonies or receptions and managed by Praesenti. You can find more info on their website or their Facebook page. The manager Anouchka has also set up a tea-room, check out her Facebook page (you have to try the homemade ice creams!).

Our cottage is 1,5 km from Saintes’ center. You’ll find a Proxi Delhaize (grocery shop), Bernard Musch’s butcher place, the artisanal Vanholder bakery, the Sweet & Home decoration shop, a pharmacy, and many cafés and restaurants (mention our name, you’ll be heartily welcomed):

In the neighboring villages of Bierghes, Lembeek and Tubize, you will find other pharmacies, a bookshop, an Intermarché and a Colruyt. There are also other butcher’s shops such as Smismans (farm butcher), or Chez Freddy.
